Michael F. White's Obituary
Michael F. White passionately known as Mike of Federalsburg passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home. He was 65.
He was born on August 28, 1953 in Baltimore City, Maryland, the son of the late Joseph E White, Sr., and Mary Lou Thomas White of Baltimore.
Growing up in Baltimore, Mike later graduated from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the class of 1971. After school, Mike turned his passion of the outdoors into a career working most of his life in retail selling sporting goods. He most recently could be found working in the sporting goods department at Wal-Mart of Easton, MD.
Mike loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially in his deer stand. During the warm months of summer when Mike couldn’t be in his deer stand, he could be found with a fishing rod or golf club in hand.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Andrews White of Federalsburg, step-son Britten Robbins and his fiancée Haley of Federalsburg, and three siblings, Joseph E. White, Jr of Baltimore, Carol Lynn Dumsha of Ellicott City, MD, and Thomas White of Baltimore. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ann Porter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Denzil T. Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00. Burial will be private.
