Michelle L. Barry's Obituary
Michelle L. Barry, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home in Preston. She was 47.
She was born on February 10, 1968 in Fort Dix, New Jersey and was a daughter of the late Charles Mathews and Doris Greene Mathews. On July 29, 1989, she married John P. Barry.
Michelle was a devoted wife and mother, who thought the world of her family. She enjoyed gardening and had a passion for party planning and decorating. She was employed as an office manager with Preston Automotive Group. She was a member of the Delmarva Divas and the Preston Election Committee.
She is survived by her husband, John P. Barry, Jr., of Preston, four sons, John Patrick Barry, III, and his wife April, of Preston, Grayson Thomas Barry, of Preston, Travis Edward Barry, of Preston, and Ian Charles Barry, who is currently stationed in Hawaii, a sister, Renee Kunze, of Howard County, and a brother, James Mathews, of Federick.
In addition, she is also survived by five nephews and seven nieces.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
