"Mickey" Todd's Obituary
Mildred C. “Mickey” Todd who lived near Federalsburg died at Caroline Home for Hospice in Denton, MD on Sunday, March 25, 2007. She was 80.
She was born on March 8, 1927 near Preston, MD the daughter of the late William A. Cox and Grace E. Andrew Cox. Her husband of 35 years, J. Thomas Todd, Jr., whom she married on January 4, 1947 died on December 4, 1982. A son, Donald E. Todd preceded her in death on January 25, 1995.
She joined Harmony United Methodist Church in 1943 and through the years served on the Administrative Council, as a Trustee, on Pastor Parish Relations, the Social Concerns Committee, and the American Corner Ladies Aide. Over the years she was an inspiration to many as she shared her faith through thoughtful gifts of food, conversation and visitation.
She is survived by a son, John W. Todd and his wife Jackie of Preston, a daughter-in-law Patricia L. Todd of Cambridge, 5 grandchildren, Christopher B. Todd and his wife Lisa of Camden, DE, Shelley L. Todd of Cambridge, P. Ryan Todd and his wife Stacey of Preston, Jeremy M. Todd and his wife Anjoli of Knoxville, TN, Jami Martz and her husband Marvin of Center Cross, VA, 4 great-grandchildren, Kristie and Heather Angstadt, Conner R. Todd and Anne Kathryn Martz, and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Lloyd Cox and William Cox and three sisters, Edna Wharton, Esther Prettyman and Dorothy Cox preceded her in death.
Funeral services for her will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Carol Price, Rev. James Miller and Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
