Mildred Jane Tyler's Obituary
Mildred Jane Tyler died at the home of her daughter in Preston, Maryland on Sunday, November 24, 2013. She was 76.
She was born on January 5, 1937 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia the daughter of the late Carl Wimmer and Etta White Wimmer.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Edward James Tyler who died in 2008.
She was an excellent baker and cook. Her craftwork including crocheting and sewing were enjoyed by many in her family that received blankets and afghan’s. She also enjoyed fishing and was known to “out fish any man”.
She is survived by three children, Daria Norris of FL, Dan Lemon of TN, and Kim Graham of GA, four step-children, Robin Wooters of Preston, Edward Tyler of Preston, Pam Gimmimen of Glen Burnie, MD, and Darlene Krauch of Selbyville, DE, several grandchildren including, Michael Barnes, Abbigail Tyler, Trew Wooters, Mckinley Wooters, Travis Tyler and Tommi Gimmimen Jason Daise and Justin Austin, two great grandchildren, Travis Tyler, II and Kelsey Tyler, and four siblings, Carolyn Dyer, Cheryl Burdinski, Wanda Pittman and Roger Wimmer. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Bonnie Young and Alvin Wimmer.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2:00 at the Bethlehem Wesleyan Church in Preston with Pastor Chris Whetlor officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00. Burial will be private.
