Miriam Elizabeth Timms Johnson's Obituary
Miriam Elizabeth Timms Johnson of Easton, and formerly of Federalsburg, died at Dorchester General Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was 71.
She was born Dec. 8, 1942 in Grasonville, MD, the daughter of the late Calvin Timms, Sr. and Pearl Quillen Timms Usilton. Her husband, Roy B. Johnson, preceded her in death.
She worked as an assembler for Airpax Corporation in Cambridge, MD. She was a former member of the Wonderful World of Widows. She loved the family beach gatherings, playing sister Bingo, yearly family pool events and Christmas parties.
Miriam is survived by a son Jeffrey Lee Johnson (Kim) of Cambridge, eight siblings, Robert Timms, Sr. (Dolores) of Stevensville, James E. Timms of Centreville, Jean Luff of Easton,
Sharon Ross (William) of Federalsburg, Pat Barr of Marydel, MD, Herbert Timms, Sr. (Carolyn) of Easton, Lora Lee Harper (Clay), and Tracey Hamonko (Jim) both of Hartley, DE, many nieces and nephews, and a God—daughter Skyler Hamonko. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Louis C. Timms, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. The family has requested donations be made in her memory to Park Lane Church of God, PO Box 235, Federalsburg, MD 21632
