Mollie Harrison's Obituary
Mollie Loris Harrison of Federalsburg went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was 91.
She was born on October 25, 1934 in Loris, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Naylor Harrison, Sr. and Carrie Wells Harrison.
After moving to Federalsburg at a young age, she was voted "Ms. Federalsburg" in 1949. She later married Robert Harrison Sr. on April 25, 1953 and spent her life raising her family and making their home in Federalsburg. She later accepted Jesus Christ and served at the First United Pentecostal Church in Salisbury. A woman of unwavering faith; she loved her Lord, her family, and her community.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and watching Jimmy Swaggert on TBN. She would often tell people that "her diamonds are her grandchildren".
She is survived by three children: Carrie Broadway and her husband Bill of Mt. Airey, Maryland; Charlotte Stanley and her husband Arthur of Bear, Delaware; and Robert "Rowdy" Harrison, Jr. of Federalsburg; eight grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and one sister Faye Harrison of Shippendsburg, PA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Pete Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 on Monday December 22, 2025 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
