Morris Edgar Hicks' Obituary
Morris Edgar Hicks of Harmony passed away at Caroline Hospice House surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was 68.
He was born in Ridgely on October 26, 1947, son of the late Edgar Morris Hicks and Betty Tribbett Hicks. Morris graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1966. He was a machinist for over thirty years and retired from M & M Refrigeration in Federalsburg. He was an avid Orioles fan and loved the game of baseball. He is survived by his son, Michael Hicks of Denton, his grandson, Chad Hicks of Reliance, three step-daughters, Denise Parks of Preston, Penny Brooks of North Carolina, Jackie McGregor of Kentucky, two sisters, Norma Lee Roe of Preston and Diane Dyes of Hurlock, and his beloved dog, Lexi. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home with Minister Bill Thomas officiating. Interment will be private.
