Myrna Jean Rodgers' Obituary
Myrna J. Rodgers, of Preston, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. She was 69.
She was born on December 8, 1946 in Severn and was a daughter of the late Burton Raymond Bussey and Mildred Dunn Bussey. She is predeceased by her husband James Morgan Rodgers.
Myrna attended schools in Anne Arundel County. She enjoyed doing puzzles as well as spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three sons, Jimmy (Jackie) Rodgers, Kenneth Rodgers, and Ricky (Christy) Rodgers ; one daughter Stacey (Tim) Brown; ten grandchildren Ray (Jessica) Rodgers, Ricky Jr.(Karen Burd) Rodgers, Crystal Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, Samantha Foster, Lindsey Rodgers, Brianna (Sumner) Hoback, Hunter Rodgers, Victor Brown, and Rylee Brown; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters Brenda (Dave) Boyer and Lois Purdham; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Denton Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
