Myrtle Mae Edgar Milligan's Obituary
Myrtle Mae Edgar Milligan of Seaford, DE passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012
at her home in Seaford. She was 86.
She was born Oct. 8, 1925 in Cambridge, MD, the daughter of the late Julian Edgar, Sr. and
Mabel Augustus Paul Edgar. Her husband, Melvin Milligan, Sr. preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2001.
Mrs. Milligan was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Cambridge.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Covey of Hurlock, MD, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children, 7 siblings, Troy Lewis of Eldorado, MD, Marie Braswell of Secretary, MD, Edith Harding of Cambridge, Doris Edgar of Bethany Beach, DE, Betty Deitweiler of Denton, MD, Frances Lewis of Greensboro, NC and Gloria Lewis of Cambridge. She was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Milligan, Jr., two brothers Julian Edgar and Frank Lewis, and a great-grandson
Grayson Covey.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Michael A. Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to VITAS (Hospice), 100 Commerce Dr., Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
