Nancy's smile lit up her entire being. You could see it in her eyes. It was as if she wore her heart on the outside. I remember planting her tomato seedlings and learning that it was her father who showed her how to coax life from seeds. I remember being in the bucket of her and Bruce's tractor, picking the sour cherries high on their beloved tree. Nancy taught me how to make jelly from those cherries.
