Nancy Stafford's Obituary
Nancy Stafford of St. Michaels passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home in St. Michaels. She was 78.
She was born on September 16, 1939 in Fishing Creek, Maryland, the daughter of the late Thomas Travers and Ruby Travers.
She was a private home healthcare sitter and a homemaker. She attended Chateau Community Church in East New Market.
She was a shopper. She loved traveling near and far for a deal; there was never a blue light special that Nancy did not know about. She also enjoyed eating out and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by five children; Tami Beecher and her husband Victor of St. Michaels, Kathy Humphries and her husband Dale of Hurlock, Charles Lednum of Federalsburg, Michael Lednum of Smithville and David Lednum and his wife Leah of Cambridge; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Matthews of East New Market and Joan Dukes of Marion Station; and her beloved faithful pets, Diamond, Rosie, Milo and Tasha.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Johnson, her son-in-law, Danny Johnson, and three sisters, Loretta Wroten, Dianne McQuade and Frieda Johnson.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at the Chateau Community Church in East New Market with the Reverend Larry Wroten officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In Lieu of Flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to help defray funeral costs to the Framptom Funeral Home, Post Office Box 757, St. Michaels, MD 21663.
