Nancy Lee Wolf Krompart's Obituary
Nancy Lee (Wolf) Krompart of Ocean Pines, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Coastal Hospice on the Lake,
Salisbury, MD.
Born June 7, 1932, in Tonawanda, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Alton Wolf and Martha Wolf. She graduated from Tonawanda High School, class of 1950. She attended Bowling Green State University. She was a former real estate agent, a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League,
served as a volunteer at Atlantic General Hospital and as a tour guide for the Ocean City Historical Society, she was organist at Peace Lutheran Church in Smyrna, DE and played for the summer services at St. Peters in Ocean Pines, MD. She was an avid bridge and pinochle player.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Donald H. Krompart whom she married May 9, 1953.
She is survived by five children; Kevin B. Krompart and his wife Linda of Leander, Texas, Sue Page Hilts of Sanborn, N.Y., Linda M. Barczykowski and her husband Roy of Pendleton, N.Y., Kristen A. Pianka and her husband Tim of Laurel, DE, and Aaron D. Krompart and his wife Mary Beth of Grasonville, MD; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and one brother, David M Wolf of Mt. Crawford, VA, and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wolf.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston, MD with the Reverend Thomas Becker officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg, MD and an hour prior to the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
