Nathan F. "Bill" Garfield 's Obituary
Nathan F. “Bill” Garfield of Denton died at UMSMC at Easton on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
He was born June 6, 1943 in Federalsburg, MD the son of the late Thaddeus and Marion Magee Garfield.
He worked for Caroline County Department of Public Works for 25 years as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cannon Garfield of Denton and 6 children, Evelyn Harrington (Calvin) of New Jersey, Paula Jacobs of Trenton, N.J., Kimberly Garfield of Federalsburg, Roselyn Cole of South Carolina and Ashanti Wright and Anthony Wright, Jr. both of Federalsburg, 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, a brother, Freddie Nichols of Seaford, DE and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for him will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bethlehem with Minister David Green, officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery at Beulah. Friends may call at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
