Neal Philip Morris' Obituary
Neal Philip Morris of Preston, MD passed away September 29, 2023 after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was 65.
Neal was born September 16, 1958 to James and Gene Morris (Mackert).
He is survived by his wife Terry (Quidas); children Katie Knight (Gary) and Phillip Morris; step-children Betsy Jackson (Kevin), Wendy Duvall (Jason) and Sherry Miller (Josh); siblings Danny Morris (Charlotte), Gordon Morris (Lynn) and Karen Breeding (Richard); Jeff Morris (Linda) and Dawn Nepert; 8 grandchildren; step-father, Robert Mackert and step-mother Katherine Morris.
Lovingly known as Poppa Mo to the younger generation, Neal loved his family with all his heart. He was a self-proclaimed Waterbilly...he loved being in his boat fishing, crabbing or joy riding. He found wonder in everything "nature". He liked to garden and dig in the dirt and had a passion for classic cars.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place at a a later date.
