Nellie M. Johnson's Obituary
Nellie M. Johnson of Bridgeville, DE passed away at her home on Friday, February 10, 2017. She was 95.
She was born on May 12, 1921, in Finchville, MD, the daughter of the late Cassie Johnson and was raised by her grandparents, Harry and Maggie Johnson.
She had worked at Quality Care as a private caregiver. She also had attended Trinity and Mt. Olivet Churches.
Nellie is survived by seven children, Christine Winchester, Jerome Johnson, both of Bridgeville, DE, Melvin Johnson, Alfred Johnson, both of Seaford, DE, Emory Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO, David Johnson of New Jersey, Virginia Hayes of Greenwood, DE, 21 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a cousin, Goldie Cannon-Walker of Seaford.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 12 noon at the Clarence Street Church of God in Seaford with Bishop Carlton Cannon officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-12 at the church. Interment will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Framptom Funeral Home.
