Nicole Misita's Obituary
Nicole Michelle Misita, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, of Greenwood, Delaware, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at her home. She was 51.
Born on March 25, 1973, Nicole was the daughter of William Misita of Seaford, DE, and the late Nancy Phillips Misita. Raised in a loving household, she had a spirited zest for life and an unwavering love for her family.
Nicole graduated from Freeport High School with the class of 1991 and went on to pursue her passion for helping others. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University, followed by a Master's degree in Social Work at Adelphi University, which equipped her with the tools to touch countless lives. Nicole dedicated her career to serving as a licensed clinical social worker, a role through which she offered compassion and support to those in need.
In her free time, Nicole found joy in the simple pleasures of life-shopping, her treasured jewelry, and the uplifting power of music and singing. She had a remarkable ability to light up a room with her laughter and spirit. Fiercely independent, she navigated the world with a loving heart, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand to those she cared about.
