Norma Lee Mae White's Obituary
Norma Lee Mae White of Federalsburg passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, Maryland. She was 84.
She was born on July 20, 1930 in Denton, Maryland the daughter of the late William Thomas Layton and Lillie Mae Jenkins Layton Donovan.
She had worked at Playtex in Milford and later for Sally Ann Bakery. She enjoyed crabbing, gardening, flowers, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Russell White of Federalsburg, four children, William Ronald Willis of Federalsburg, Sue Ann Stafford of Laurel, DE, Harold Joseph Willis and his wife Chris of Federalsburg, and Sherian Willis of Salisbury, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Elizabeth Smith of Smyrna, DE, and a brother, George Layton and his wife Polly of Denton.
She was preceded in death by her first Husband, William Joseph Willis, a son, Wilmer Edgar Willis, a daughter, Lillie Mae Willis, a grandchild, Cassie Elwood Kemp and a great grandchild, Dylan Marine, six siblings, Orville Layton, Sr., Charles Layton, Norman Layton, Eugene Layton, Thomas Layton and Wilmer Layton; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra K Willis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Marie Coulbourne officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00. Burial will be private.
