Norman W. Bergstrazer's Obituary
Norman W. Bergstrazer of Denton passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Caroline Nursing Home.
He was born October 3, 1933 in North Dakota, son of the late John and Katherine Bergstrazer. Norman was preceded in death by his wives, Patriciann Kruss Bergstrazer and Patricia Ann Collins Bergstrazer.
He was a poultry farmer. He was a longtime member of the former Burrsville Church of God, and dearly loved the Lord and listening to southern gospel music. Norman enjoyed doing search-a-find books and eating black licorice. He was a loving father and truly adored his grandchildren and his grandpets.
He is survived by his children, Karen Rust (John) of Long Neck, DE, Susan Palmer (Bruce Sr.) and Richard Bergstrazer (Amy) all of Seaford, 12 grandchildren, Matthew Rust, Angie Ragione, Dwayne Rust, Ashley Rust,, Jonathan Rust, Robert Rust, Bruce Palmer, Jr., Amber Nelson, Christian Bergstrazer, Julia Young, Mikayla Bergstrazer, Caleb Bergstrazer, and 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Rust, and three brothers, Melvin, John and Harold Bergstrazer.
A graveside service for him will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Bloomery Cemetery with Minister Eva Broseker officiating.
