Norman Robert Bradley's Obituary
Norman Robert Bradley passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at his home in Federalsburg, MD. He was 89.
He was born on February 24, 1930 in Federalsburg, Maryland, the son of the late Robert H. Bradley and Ruth Mills.
He graduated from Federalsburg High School and then joined the Marine Corp in 1951-1953. He married Joanne Weatherly Bradley in September of 1956 and they made their home in Federalsburg. He retired from E.I. DuPont after 37 years and then continued working at M & M Refrigeration.
Over the years, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends. He had a love for animals and dancing with Joanne. He served for many years on the HillCrest Cemetery Board of Trustees.
He is survived by two special nephews, Shane Phillips of Laurel, DE and Duffy McConnell of Federalsburg, MD, a special niece, Cara Baker of Laurel, DE, caregiver and niece, Brandi Lee of Laurel, DE, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg with his nephew, Pastor Shane Phillips officiating. A visitation will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Dr., Centreville, MD 21617 or to the Caroline County Humane Society, 407 W. Belle Rd., Ridgely, MD 21660.
