Carolyn Duffy and I had the pleasure of working closely with Norm here for the Town of Berlin for many years. Many of the townspeople, business owners, contractors and Town staff have offered their condolences to all of his family and friends. We will miss his smile and his wonderful stories from all around the Eastern Shore. To his family and friends we say do not be sad that it has ended, but be glad that it ever was. Rest well Norman.

Mr. Norman, as I always called him out of respect, was one of the greatest men I have ever met. I have known him since he and my father met during apprenticeship class. I started out in the electrical trade in 1991 and worked for several contractors in the area and then started my own company in 2013. Mr. Norman was always the inspector that came including numerous of my own jobs. I always enjoyed the conversations with him and will always remember him and the laughs / stories that he and Frank Bradshaw shared with me. My sincere condolences to the family of this honorable, fun loving, gentle and knowledgable man. Mr. Norman, sir, you will be missed greatly!! GOD speed!!
