Olin W. Jr. Briggs' Obituary
Olin Wesley Briggs, Jr., “Buster” of Federalsburg passed away at his home on Sunday, November 11, 2007. He was 55.
He was born on December 25, 1951, the daughter of the late Olin Wesley Briggs, Sr. and Magdalene Johnson Briggs.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School Class of 1969. He served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He had worked at Maryland Plastics Co. in Federalsburg. He enjoyed working on and repairing cars. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle.
He is survived by three children, Olin Bolden and Olindia Bolden, both serving our country in the armed forces, Michelle Cannon of Worchester, MA, six grandchildren, three brothers, William Briggs of Seaford, DE, Gordon Briggs of Laurel, MD, three sisters, Beatrice Murphy of Dorchester, MA, Hazel Cornish and Eva Briggs, both of Cambridge, MD, an aunt, Florence Simms, three uncles, George Simms, Naman Palmer, Julius Littlejohn and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirby Briggs, and a sister, Mary Alberta Briggs.
Funeral services for him will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Stanley Ricketts officiating. Interment will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m
