Orville E. Jones, Sr.'s Obituary
Orville Elmer Jones, Sr. passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Corsica Hills Nursing Home in Centreville, Maryland. He was 80.
He was born on June 14, 1928, the son of the late Otis Boardley and Carrie Jones Briggs.
He was raised by John Wesley Briggs
He was a truck driver all of his life and worked very hard to provide for his family.
He is survived by four children, Vanessa Jones of Trappe, MD, Orville E. Jones, Jr., of Salisbury, MD, Jacoby A. Jones and Kevin D. Jones both of Cambridge, MD, a sister, Hattie Lee Pinckens of Federalsburg, He was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Lee Green.
A Funeral Service is planned for Saturday, May 30, 3009 at 1:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg
