Otelia M. Nichols' Obituary
Otelia Mildred Nichols of American Corner, Near Federalsburg passed away on July 14, 2011 at Easton Memorial Hospital. She was 84.
She was born March 12, 1927 near Harmony, Caroline County, Maryland the daughter of the late Phillip Thomas and Blanche Hooper Thomas.
She is survived by four daughters, Diane Blackwell of New Castle, DE, Darlene Nichols , Augustine Briggs and Delema Wilmer all of Preston, MD, a step son, Clinton Cephas of Wilmington, DE, a brother, Leon Thomas of Preston, MD, ten grand children, 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Thomas and Edward Nichols.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 1:00 at Union United Methodist Church in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 11-1 at the Church.
