Otis Wallace Lord, Jr.'s Obituary
Otis Wallace "Wally" Lord, Jr., passed away at his home in Eldorado on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He was 62.
He was born on October 24, 1960 in Salisbury, Maryland, the son of the late Otis Wallace Lord, Sr., and Evelyn Kuhlman Lord. He graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1978, and studied diesel mechanics at Del Tech. He worked for various automotive dealerships over the years.
Wally loved to sing and play his guitar. He performed in many area restaurants in Easton, Oxford, and Ocean City. He was a member of Eldorado United Methodist Church until its closure.
He is survived by two sisters: Mary Cheezum, of Preston, and Carol Payne, and her husband David, of Federalsburg; four nephews: Thomas Cheezum II, Eric Cheezum, David Payne, Jr., and Dale Payne; several great nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Barbara Moore Lord.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Burial will follow at Eldorado Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00.
