Obituary for Pamela Chance Messick
Born April 8, 1948 in Easton, MD. Died August 16, 2024 in Seaford, DE.
She was 76. Pam was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing.
Pam graduated from Easton High School Class of 1967. She worked factory jobs then retired from Solo Cup in 2011. After Solo Cup, she worked different domestic jobs such as housekeeping and caring for elderly.
Pam is survived by her Husband of 50 years, Ron Sr. of Federalsburg, MD, a daughter Jenny Messick Truitt (Ben) of Laurel, DE, two sons Ronnie Messick Jr of Lancaster, PA. and Terry Messick (Cherie) of Cordova, MD. 6 Grandchildren, Matthew Stewart, Jenna Stewart, Nikki Stewart, Zachary Culver, Kris Messick Sr. and Raven Messick and 5 great grandchildren, Brayden Stewart, Tori Milligan, Rhianna Alcindor, Iverson Caceres and Kris Messick Jr.,1 sister Judy Llyod,1 brother Franklin (Buddy) Whitaker and numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her parents Milton and Cornelia Chance, 2 brothers Jack Chance and Milton (Bunk) Chance and her in laws Robert and Irene Messick.
She always enjoyed spending time with family (and friends), along with gardening, being outside and going to church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 at Trinity United Methodist Church in East New Market, MD at 1pm. (A fellowship dinner will follow)
