Pamela Michele Spalin's Obituary
Pamela Michele "Pam" Spalin, of Easton, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Talbot Hospice in Easton. She was 55.
She was born on May 21, 1961 and was a daughter of Adele Fuchs and the late Clifton Cummings.
At the early age of 9 years old, Pam began working in her parents’ restaurant, H and G located on route 50 in Easton. At age 19, she went on to become a licensed cosmetologist and later obtained her cosmetology teaching degree and licensed Electrologist. She owned and operated Hair Pro's in Easton for a number of years, until her health started declining in 2012. Pam was very active in her community, besides being a licensed hairdresser, she was an ordained minister and enjoyed spreading the gospel to everyone she met. She was well known for her desire to help her community thru mission work and always strived to put others first in everything she did. She was member of House of Praise Easton.
She leaves to cherish her husband of 26 years, Donald Spalin, Jr.; a son Garrett Spalin; an adopted son Andrew Henry and his wife Lori; a step-son Donald Spalin, III and his wife Joy; her mother Adele Fuchs and her husband Ernest; two grandchildren Danielle Henry and Axel Spalin, four brothers Tyler Horner and his wife Raye Ellen all of Easton, Farley Cummings and his wife Estelle of Salisbury, Jason Cummings and Curtis Cummings both of Preston; five step-brothers Robbie Horner, Michael Marine, Robin Marine, Keith Marine and Kevin Marine; a uncle SJ Ireland of Easton; a special step-father who was like a father to her Robert Horner of Easton; her step mother Betty Cummings, of Preston, a very special friend Jacki Carels and her husband Rob of Easton, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Services will be held on March 4, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Easton Church of God with Reverend Fred Bahr, Robbie Horner, and Reverend David Harding officiating. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends 12:00-1:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pam's honor to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
