Pam & I were best friends through our lives. She moved in next door to me when I was six and the day we met in her backyard we found out we were born on the same day a year apart. Both of our families were close; we played together daily and loved making Toll House cookies. One day while making cookies ( we always ate the dough ) we starting running through the house and ended up with chocolate smeared on my mother’s newly laundered curtains. Boy was Mom upset! We loved watching American Bandstand and dancing. We put on many dance shows for our parents.I have so many photos of her from the50’s, 60’s & 70’s. I was her bridesmaid in her 1st marriage to Peter. Last time I heard from her she said she was planning on traveling west to San Francisco & wanted to visit me in Reno. I had invited her to my 2011 wedding but she was unable to make it. I had always hoped to be able to see her again and am so sorry to hear of her passing. My father also had Alzheimer’s so I understand what her daughters & friends go through in the final years as both of my parents lived with me until their deaths.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all. Karen
