Patricia Wright's Obituary
Patricia Wright passed peacefully following an extended illness on October 9, 2024. She was 79 years old and a resident of Manor House in Seaford, Delaware.
Born on January 25, 1945 she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Harding. Pat grew up in Preston, Maryland and worked at Preston Trucking in Preston and Glen Burnie Md. She left Preston Trucking and sold Home Interior for several years.
Pat married Richard Wright on March 20, 1978. They lived in Ferndale Md. and later resided in Greenwood, Delaware after Richard retired. Richard preceded her in death on December 31, 2021.
While living in Delaware, Pat became a member of Crossroad Community Church. She loved getting dressed up for church and enjoyed her role as greeter / hugger. She also enjoyed planting flowers, bowling, and later in life Wii bowling.
She is survived by her brother Bill Harding, her son Jay Stichberry (Kim); her step-daughter Vickie Spitler; her grandchildren Jayson Stichberry (Katie), Courtney Imbrogulio (Jake), Megan Couch (Jake), Amanda Ruzzi (Tom), and Kyle Norton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. The family will receive friends starting at 10 a.m. that same morning.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
