Patrick John Mastronardi, Sr's Obituary
Patrick John Mastronardi, Sr., age 70, died at PRMC on Sunday, March 27, 2016.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa, the son of the late Patricia and John Mastronardi. Patrick was raised in Philadelphia and attended Catholic Schools there. The family re-located to Dorchester County during Pat’s teen years. He attended North Dorchester High School. He started his employment career with Bay Shore Foods in Easton, working in the poultry business for over twenty years. He worked in Easton, St. Michaels, and opened the Hurlock Operations as the Hatchery Manager. Pat started a second career as a mechanic at Solo Cup Co in Federalsburg, Md. and worked there for over twenty years.
On the social side, Patrick was an avid "flea marketer" and active member of the Seaford Senior Center. Patrick had the love for nature both on land and the bay. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and the beach. But his love for his children and grandchildren were his finest joy.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Joe Mastronardi and his wife Janine of Preston, Md., Victoria Milhollan and her husband Eric of Easton, Md., Laura Wheeley and her husband T.R. of Fleming Island, FL, and Patrick John Mastronardi Jr. and his wife Michelle of Woodbridge, Virginia. He has twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Patrick’s siblings include John Mastronardi, Mary Dukes, and Jeannie Mastronardi Mowbray. Patrick was preceded in death of his brother Leo in 2014. Patrick is also survived by three nephews.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
