Patrick Wheedleton's Obituary
Patrick Clayton Wheedleton of Cumberland, MD passed away on June 1, 2008 in Cumberland. He was 40 years old.
He was born on April 4, 1968 in Putuxant, Maryland, son of Elijah Leroy Wheedleton and Nancy L. Owens Wheedleton of Galestown.
He graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1986. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was employed as a leather tanner. He served on the Board of Directors for HRDC of Alleghany County. He was a volunteer at the Archway Station Wellness recovery program where he volunteered with crafts. He also enjoyed fishing.
Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Brenda Wheedleton, two sisters, Hazel Louise Harding and her husband, Jeff, of Vienna, Brenda Lee Marvil and her husband, Ronnie, of Sharptown, four nephews, Joshua, Brandon, Ryan, and Danny, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, in Federalsburg, with Rev. George Hufnagel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12-1 p.m.
