Patsy A. Dickerson's Obituary
Patsy A. Wallace Dickerson of Seaford, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2022 at her home. She was 80.
She was born on January 7, 1942 in Bridgeville, DE; the daughter of the late Earl Wallace and Catherine Passwaters Wallace.
She was married to Donald R. Dickerson. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2015.
She worked at E.I. DuPont in the contractor's company. She later worked for the Seaford Central School District as a reading mentor assisting children to learn how to read. She truly enjoyed her work and over the years so many students would always greet her with gratitude for her time spent with them as they met her years later.
In her free time, Patsy loved reading, shopping, working her school books, Sunday drives, dancing and country music.
She is survived by a daughter: Brenda Stewart of Seaford, a step-daughter, Pamela Dickerson of Denton, and a grandson: Franklin Stewart, III of New Orleans, LA.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings: William Wallace and Phyllis Austin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood. The Reverend Marie Coulbourne will officiate. Interment will follow at Seaford Odd Fellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to the start of the service.
