Paul Eugene Williamson's Obituary
Paul E. Williamson, of Milford, Delaware, left this world peacefully on March 20, 2026. He was 89 years old.
He was born on August 21, 1936, in Greenwood, Delaware, the son of John Emory Williamson and Jessie Adams Williamson. Paul grew up on the family farm along the Marshyhope Creek. He was a proud alumni of Greenwood High School Class of 1954 and went to the University of Delaware where he graduated in 1958. Paul worked for the State of Delaware for several years and then he took a position with large agricultural companies that took him from California to Saudi Arabia. He finished up his career back in Delaware with the Sussex County Conservation District. Paul loved spending time with family and friends, loved being outdoors gardening, hunting and crabbing.
Paul was a man of faith who enjoyed attending church on Sundays and looked forward to helping out the church in many ways. He was a member of the Calvary Church in Milford.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Reader Williamson of Milford; his sons, John Rexx Williamson (Pam) of Harrington, DE, Scot A. Williamson (Donna) of Bridgeville, DE and Michael T. Williamson (Federica) of Manchester, England. His grandchildren, Andrew Williamson (Taylor), Zachary Williamson (Rachel), Colton Williamson (Allie Hoffman), Hunter Williamson and Penelope Williamson. His great-grandchildren, Aurora and Maeve Williamson and Jacob and Jaxon Williamson He is also survived by a brother John Williamson of Beaver Creek, OH, his sister, Nancy Bennett of Greenwood, DE, sister-in-law Carol Williamson of Georgetown, DE, and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel, Greenwood, DE from 10:00 a.m. with service to start at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26. Burial will be at Todd's Chapel Cemetery in Greenwood where he will be laid to rest near his parents, and his son, Paul Steven Williamson and his brother, Kenneth Williamson.
