Pauline A. Mills' Obituary
Pauline A Mills formally of Reliance passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Preston, Maryland. She was 94.
She was born on October 26, 1920 in Galestown, Maryland the daughter of the late Charles E. Andrews and Ethel Reeves Andrews.
She graduated from Dorchester County Schools. After graduation, she married Houston J. Mills who preceded her in death in 1995. She started her career as a seamstress at Federalsburg Sportswear and later at Nanticoke Sportswear in Seaford. She later retired as a floor lady and manager of Hurlock Sportswear.
She attended First Baptist Church in Seaford. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. Lord and her husband George “Buster” of Preston, MD, a niece she raised as her daughter, Hazel Phillips and her husband Ralph of Georgia, two grandchildren, Terri Bennett and her husband Michael of Federalsburg and Debbie Hood of Preston, four great grandchildren, Angie McCracken and her husband Kyle of Salisbury, David Wilson Jr., of East New Market, Brittany Wilson of Preston and Ryan Hood of Preston, and one great-great grandchild Paislee Hood. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilmer Andrews, Elwood Andrews, and Theodore Andrews, and two sisters, Ruby Perry and Betty Short.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Michael Hopkins Officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
