Paul Russell Marine's Obituary
Paul Russell Marine of Seaford, DE passed away on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at the home of his niece, Debbie Wheedleton near Galestown. He was 79.
He was born May 28, 1931 in Reid’s Grove, Dorchester Co., MD, the
son of the late Otis and Neda V. Barnes Marine.
He served in the United States Marine Corps earning the rank of Lance Corporal. He worked for Delmarva Power Co. as a Control Room Operator for the Vienna Power Plant. He was a member of the Sharptown Legion Post 218, and a member of the VFW. He also was a member of the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by two brothers, Franklin D. Marine and his wife Madeline, of East New Market, MD, and Martin F. Redington, Jr. and his wife
Dorothy of Dagsboro, DE and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents
he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Marine, Floyd Marine and a sister Virgie Richardson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park in Cambridge, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
