Pearly M. Mast's Obituary
Pearly M (Craft) Mast, daughter of the James and Blanche Craft, was born December 25, 1935 in Texas. She lived most of her childhood in Nampa, Idaho. Pearly graduated from Western Mennonite High School in Oregon, after graduation she moved to Greenwood, Delaware to work at the Country Rest Home. On November 24, 1955 she married A. Earl Mast, they settled in Delaware where they raised their family. Two decades later she returned to school where she received her RN degree and spent a great deal of her life caring for others, both through her career as a nurse and many mission trips, both in the United States and abroad. Pearly was a lifelong member of the Greenwood Mennonite Church.
Pearly went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening, August 30, 2019, at her home in Greenwood Delaware. She was preceded in death by her son, Dale James Mast, her husband, A. Earl Mast, her parents, and 3 brothers.
A viewing will be held Wednesday evening, September 4, 6:00-8:00, visitation Thursday, September 5 at 2:00, funeral service to follow at 3:00 with the viewings and service to be held at Greenwood Mennonite Church.
Pearly is survived by her two sons Earl Gordon Mast (Pat) and Alvin Eugene Mast (Peggy), one daughter Sandra Mast, five grandchildren Tiffany Schrader (Ramsey), Joshua Mast (Julie), Michael Mast (Megan), Eric Mast, and Joseph Mast, four great grandsons, six great granddaughters, one brother Richard, and one sister Ellen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greenwood Mennonite School, 12802 Mennonite School Rd, Greenwood, DE 19950. Services entrusted to Framptom Funeral Home-Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood, Delaware.
