Peggy Ann English's Obituary
Peggy Ann English of Hurlock, MD passed away on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge, MD. She was 76.
She was born April 21, 1931 in Gratersford, PA, the daughter of the late Sanford Franklin English and Maggie Hughes English.
She was a graduate of Hurlock High School and had worked as a seamstress at the former Hurlock Sports Wear and the former Fed Sports in Federalsburg. She had been employed by Tastee Freeze in Federalsburg. She was a member of Unity-Washington United Methodist Church in Hurlock and loved to do needlework.
She is survived by 7 sisters and one brother, Carol English of Hurlock with whom she made her home, Joyce Brown of Glen Burnie, MD, Barbara English of Federalsburg, Anna Mae Patchett of Preston, Franklin English of Federalsburg, Mildred Short and Doris Franz of Hurlock, and Betty Lofland of Federalsburg, a niece, she raised as a daughter, Linda English of Hurlock, several nieces and nephews, and a longtime friend, Betty McConnell of Easton. Two siblings preceded her in death, William English and Marie English.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg. Interment will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
