Penny McMasters Miller's Obituary
Penny McMasters Miller of Federalsburg passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was 60.
She was born on December 4, 1956 in Seaford, DE, the daughter of Paul Eugene McMasters and Mary Ellen Jones McMasters of Laurel, DE.
She graduated from Laurel High School with the class of 1974. She enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 1, 1979. During her service, she was stationed in Spain where she met her husband, William Arno Miller. They were married on December 15, 1982. She was honorably discharged on January 20, 1983.
Penny was a dedicated mother who homeschooled each of her seven children, and also managed the family business manufacturing poultry curtains. She was a longstanding member of Shore Harvest Presbyterian Church in Easton.
She is survived by her parents, Paul E. McMasters and Mary Ellen Jones McMasters of Laurel, DE; seven children, Marea Miller, Paul Miller, Jonathan Miller, Joy Miller, Erin Faith MIller, Christy Miller and Jessica Miller; two brothers, Michael McMasters and Wayne McMasters; one sister, Sandra Johnson; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arno Miller on July 19, 2014.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Rev. Tom Poehlman officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Funeral Home.
