Peter E. Marth's Obituary
Peter E. "Pete" Marth of Easton, died on Monday October 17, 2022 at Corsica Hills in Centreville, MD. He was 81.
Born in Wildwood, N.J. on December 24, 1940 he was the son of the late, William and Mildred Tarbutton Marth. He graduated from Preston High School in 1959 and Chesapeake College in 1973. After various positions of employment, Pete owned and operated Marth Custodial and Chesapeake Ground care. He later built speak homes and eventually obtained his real estate licenses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; and sister-in-law's William (Doris) and Donald (Marilynn). Pete is survived by his children; Peter (Lisa), Rosemary, Blair (Lori), and Derek. 14 grandchildren, 14 Great grandchildren, a sister; Joan Payne, and several nieces and nephews.
The values you taught your children and grandchildren will forever live on in our hearts. Pete has left us with many great memories, and laughter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 1210S Washington St, Easton, MD; on Wednesday October 26 at 11:00AM the family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Matthew Marth, Nathan Trumphour, Travis Marth, Zachery Marth, Stuart Butler, and Luke Cummings.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton.
Memorial donations in Pete's memory may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 1210 S. Washington St. Easton MD. 21601 or to the family life center of SSPP.
