Ralph Moore's Obituary
Ralph M. Moore, Sr. of Galestown, MD passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at
Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. He was 90 years old.
Mr. Moore was born July 12, 1921 in Federalsburg, MD, the son of the late Walter and Berzetta Tull Moore.
He was a lifetime farmer and was a member of Dorchester Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anita Hudson Moore, whom he married on Sept. 25, 1942, 5 children, Ralph M. Moore, Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., Dolores M. Hitchens of Mardela Springs, MD, Charles L. “Jake” Moore of Galestown, and Joye L. Massey of Lake Park, GA;
8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Joyce Mae Jacobs and Eleanor Meredith, both of Federalsburg, and Sarah Anne Archer of Smyrna, DE, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Moore and a great-grandson
Blake M. Warrington.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Willey officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford. Friends may call an hour prior to the service.
