Ralph Schulke's Obituary
Ralph H. Schulke of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge. He was 83 years old.
He was born Nov. 17, 1928 in Smithville in Caroline Co., MD, the son of the late Theodore and Myrtle Lord Schulke.
He was a graduate of Preston High School and had served his country in the U.S. Army. He was owner and operator of the Federalsburg Transit Company, and was a member of the
American Legion Post #243 in Hurlock and the V.F.W. Post #5246 in Federalsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline A. Schulke of Federalsburg, a son Ronald K. Schulke of Federalsburg, a grandson Ryan Kemp Schulke of Federalsburg, two sisters Helen Keyes (Howard) of Cambridge, MD and Rachel Harris of San Diego, CA, two nieces, four nephews and brother-in-law Melvin Adams of Federalsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 on Friday. Private interment will be at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah.
