Ralph Wroten's Obituary
Ralph T. Wroten of Hurlock died at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE on Saturday, November 18, 2006. He was 83.
He was born on February 1, 1923 at Williamsburg, in Dorchester County, the son of the late Al G. Wroten and Sadie Elaine Wright Wroten.
He worked for many years in road construction as a heavy equipment operator, working on the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Turnpikes and many other major roads. He later owned and operated his own heavy equipment working for himself and other contractors before retiring in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Norma L. Paul Wroten of Hurlock a sister, Anna Stokes of Salisbury, MD and several nieces and nephews. Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services for him will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m..
