Randolph S. Ross' Obituary
Randolph Scott Ross "Randy" of Easton passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the University of Maryland Medical System at Easton. He was 72.
He was born on May 18, 1950 in Easton, Maryland the son of the late James Harrison Ross, Sr., and Lottie Mae Scott Ross.
Randy worked as a teen to support his mother and family after his father's death. He was married to Pamela Larmore on March 21, 1969 and they made their home in Easton. He worked at Texaco, Millers Body Shop and later worked at the Talbot County Jail. He later obtained certification for a Sheriff's Deputy and retired after 30 years of faithful service to Talbot County. After his retirement, he worked for Car Parts, FHN Funeral Home, Easton and later for Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, and finally, for Framptom Funeral Home.
Randy never met a stranger. He always had a story to tell. He loved fishing with his dear friend Merle Evans on a boat they named "Suds Bros". He loved riding in his Sling Shot with his wife and cherished Dog, Zeva.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Larmore Ross of Easton, three children: Veronica "Ronnie" and her husband Keith of Cordova, Scott Ross, Donovan, and their husband Barry of Easton and Jenny Leager and her husband Robbie of Sudlersville, three grandchildren: Alan and his wife Teresa of Cordova, Bradley and his husband Joe of West Palm Beach, FL, and Colleen and her husband Will of Cordova and one great grandchild Jordyn and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: James Ross, Jr., George Ross, Raymond Ross, Lavenia Sherwood, Lucretia Jester and Tilghman Ross.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Pastor Bob Davis of the Fairview Church of the Brethren will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Easton.
