Randy Faulkner's Obituary
Randy L. Faulkner of Preston, passed away at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, on Friday, April 3, 2009. He was 49 years old.
He was born June 2, 1959, in Easton, Maryland the son of Paul Faulkner of Preston and Thelma A. Robinson Cahall of Easton.
He attended Colonel Richardson High School. He was a truck driver for Star Trucking in Ridgely, Maryland. He played football for Easton area youth football teams, was a member of the Easton Rotary Club Little League Baseball Team, played on Preston Volunteer Fire Company Softball Team, and was a former member of the Ridgely & Preston Volunteer Fire Companies.
He is survived by his parents Paul and Ruth Faulkner of Preston, Thelma A. and Robert Cahall of Easton, his wife and best friend, M. Dawn Walls Faulkner, 4 children, Billie Jo Layton of Preston, Bruce Layton of Centreville, MD, Dawn Welzel and her husband Randy of Preston, and Crystal Truitt and her husband E.J. of Laurel, DE; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Layton, his right hand and best friend, Brooke Layton, his little princess, Taylor Layton, Dylan Collins, Katelynn Welzel, Jkob Welzel, and Nicholas Truitt; 3 sisters Jennifer Faulkner of Preston, Roxanne (Dave) Walls of Ridgely, and Dawn West of Easton, MD; many nieces and nephews, and a uncle Leonard (Bonnie) Robinson of Newcomb, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
