Raymond E. Schall, Jr.
Newcomb, Raymond Earl “Razor” Schall, Jr. died at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, on Friday, October 25, 2013. He was 58. Born in Easton, on June 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Sr. and Sarah Eason Schall. Ray attended Talbot Co. public schools in St. Michaels, after which he and his brother formed several businesses as well as working with their father in home construction and remodeling. After the death of his father Ray began his own lawn care business working in and around the Bay Hundred area he took great pride in doing his job, until he retired for health reasons. Ray loved the outdoors, especially riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the St. Michaels Fire Department Station 40, for more than 20 years, where he served as an Engineer, and also trustee. Ray is survived by his wife; Betty L Schall, whom he married on June 6, 1998, a daughter Rachel Jump (Michael) of Hurlock, two sister; Helen Campbell (Steve) of Newcomb, Bonnie Watts of North Carolina, a sister in law Pam Schall of PA., numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his beloved constant companion of 11 , Sweet Pea. In addition to his parents Ray was preceded in death by a brother; Jeffery B. Schall. A memorial luncheon will be held at Harrison’s Chesapeake House, Tilghman at 1:00PM on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Please bring photos, and stories to share Ray’s life with each other. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels.
