Raymond Allen Steelman's Obituary
Raymond Allen Steelman of Seaford, DE passed away at home on November 1, 2018. He was 64.
He was born in Georgia on September 22, 1954, the son of Edward A. Steelman and Victoria Iriarte Steelman.
He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Diana L.J. Steelman on November 12, 1971 before graduating from Seaford High School in 1972.
He loved his sports but baseball was his favorite with the Orioles being his team from an early age. He was also an avid bowler for many years and a member of DuPont bowling team known as Cobras and owner of Sudden Impact Pro Shop with his son. He had a dry sense of humor and loved to read.
He is survived by his wife, Diana, his daughter, Diana, and son, James and wife Carrie, his grandchildren, Alice, Nick, Kaitlyn, and A.J., a great-grandchild, Kennedy, his mother, Victoria, and his sister Julie, her husband Terry, and their family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Steelman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel Cancer Center in Seaford, DE.
