Raymond Edward Cannon's Obituary
Raymond Edward Cannon of Federalsburg passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was 66.
He was born on January 13, 1942 in Caroline County, Maryland, the son of the late Harry H Cannon and Amanda Jane Brummell.
He attended Lockerman High School in Caroline County. He later worked as a laborer at various places, last working for the Townsend Company. He enjoyed socializing with his family and friends, listening to oldies music, and sci-fi movies. He also was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his companion of more than 34 years, Mae Fannie Belfield of Federalsburg and ten children, Dale Wise and Dwayne Wise both of Greensboro, Raymond Frazier of Seaford, Michelle Belfield of Salisbury, Gloria Belfield and Josephine Brown both of Federalsburg, Barbara Hawkes of Baltimore, Louis Washington of Delaware, Larry Wise of Pennsylvania, and William “Bill” Craig of Ridgely, five siblings, Maurice Cannon of Easton, Robert Lee Brummell of Texas, Helen Cannon of Denton, Ernest Brummell of Federalsburg, and Shirley Brummell of Ohio, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Reverend Lewis Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 6-8p.m. at the Funeral Home.
