Reva D. Stephens Payne's Obituary
Reva D. Stephens Scott Payne went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at the Anchorage Nursing & Rehabiitation Center in Salisbury, MD. She was 80 years old.
She was born July 20, 1928 in Salisbury, MD the daughter of the late Albert G. and Viola Baker Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Payne.
She was an avid homemaker who loved to bake and cook and was famous for her fudge. She was a former member of the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by nine children, Larry R. Scott, Sr. (Bonnie) of Delmar, DE, Ronnie Hartzler (Elizabeth) of Greenville, MI, Diane Kirkpatrick (Sam) and Linda Hayward (Larry) , both of Salisbury, Paul Scott (Brenda) of Parsonsburg, MD, Roy Scott (Susan) of Seaford, DE, William
Scott (Cristal) and Tracy Hill (Darren), both of Laurel, DE, and Sharon Weaver (Pete) of New Jersey; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Oliver Stephens (Betty) of Salisbury, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Van Albert Scott and 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 30505 Dagsboro Rd., Salisbury with Rev. Robert Reinert officiating. Interment will follow in Melson United Methodist Church Cemetery in Delmar, MD. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
