Richard H. Behrens' Obituary
Richard H. Behrens of Greenwood died at his home on Friday October 18, 2024. He was 95.
Born on November 4, 1928 in the Bronx N.Y., he was the son of the late Richard and Lillian McGrath Behrens. Mr. Behrens grew up in N.Y. and following his education, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Making the Corp his life-long career, at the time of his Honorable Discharge, he held the rank of Gunnery SGT.
He is survived by his children; Janice Teahan and husband Michael of Mt Vernon, NY; Diane Mielke of Denton, MD, Pamela Moore of Dunkirk, MD; and Harry Moore and his wife Rose of Riva, VA. Richard is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as his brother, William Behrens of N.Y.
Graveside services will be held at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. on Monday October 28, 2024 at, 11:00AM.
Arrangements are by the Framptom Funeral Home- Fleischauer Chapel of Greenwood.
