Richard, fondly known as Dick or Dickie, L. Christopher of Preston, MD passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 30, 2021. He was 80. He was born September 23, 1940 in Easton, MD, the son of the late James L. and Louise Read Obituary
We will miss him at the Preston Lions Club, always had a smile and the most interesting stories.
I was a Preston girl growing up. I remember Dickie
very well. He was our neighbor way back. He would
walk thru the yard with his Mother to watch the
Preston Little League games. Always very friendly!

Bless the family and friends of Dickie. ALthough I did not know him well, I had seen him at the Preston Historical Society. He knew I was one of Joe Marquardt's boys as soon as he saw me. He was so easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. Our prayers go out to his wife Jackie, my cousin Kim Lowe Breiner and her husband Matt, his sister Patsy and his dear friend, and my aunt, Rosemary Marquardt. Dickie is now reunited with my Aunt Barbara Jean and cousin Tammy as well as his parents and brother Jimmy.
