Richard Dale Everage, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard Dale Everage, Sr. passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. He was 57.
He was born on July 8, 1963, the son of late Roy Lee Everage and Norma Lee (Wroten) Everage. He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1981 and he went on to become a Commercial truck driver for multiple different corporations. Most recent being Crystal Springs out of Seaford DE. But the majority of his years spent with Benmatt Industries out of Federalsburg MD. In his time outside of work he enjoyed working on cars and trucks or anything with an engine. He also enjoyed drag racing“legally” with his friends and spending time at the bowling lanes. He always enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his son, Richard D. Everage Jr. (Jennifer Post);grandchildren:Kody R. Everage, Madison L. Dehorty, Makenzie M. Everage and Mason L. Everage; Brothers: Roy Everage. Jr. and Randy A. Everage; Nieces: Destiny F. Everage and Lindsay Everage; and Nephew: Christopher Everage.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of life will be held on the 20th of February, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Preston Volunteer Fire Company in Preston, MD with Pastor Dave Griffin officiating.
Flowers and cards can be sent to the Preston Fire house on the day of the service prior to 3pm.
